Dr. Nancy Peddle, CEO and President of LemonAid Fund is a distinguished leader with a rich academic background and extensive international experience spanning over 25 years. Armed with a Master of Science in Education from Bank Street College and a Master of Arts in Organizational Development and Leadership, along with a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University, Dr. Peddle is equipped with a comprehensive understanding of educational and organizational dynamics. She has further honed her expertise with a Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Peddle has traversed the globe throughout her career, lending her expertise to numerous countries, including Sierra Leone, Indonesia, Albania/Kosovo, Nepal, India, Bhutan, and many others. Her professional journey has seen her provide leadership to the UN and International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs) on a diverse array of issues ranging from sustainable development and education to child protection and psychosocial programming. Notably, she has held pivotal roles in organizations such as the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect.
In her role as CEO and President of LemonAid Fund, Dr. Nancy's dedication to humanitarian causes shines through. Her work in war-torn and impoverished regions like Sierra Leone and Aceh Indonesia underscores her commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those most in need. Dr. Nancy's research on topics such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and her innovative forgiveness, gratitude, and appreciation (FGA) approach have garnered international recognition. She has authored publications utilized in university curriculums and collaborated with esteemed experts in the field.
An accomplished educator, Dr. Nancy has lectured at prestigious institutions including Northwestern University, Concordia University, Montclair State University, and Fourah Bay University, imparting her knowledge on early childhood policy, international development, psychology, and forgiveness. She dedicates her time to mentoring Ph.D. students at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology's Online International Psychology Program while being based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and Chicago, Illinois, USA.
